吴卓的所长任期在台糖官方表中为1954年7月至1963年5月。文化记忆库保存的1954年8月2日交接合影，将他标为新任所长，并记载他此前任试验所协理。该馆藏说明还将《甘蔗植物学》的共同翻译列入其经历，可作为追查糖业科研知识传播的线索。Taiwan Sugar's official list gives Wu Zhuo's tenure as director as July 1954 to May 1963. The 2 August 1954 handover photograph preserved in the National Cultural Memory Bank identifies him as the incoming director and records that he had previously served as associate manager of the experiment station. The archive description also includes his co-translation of Botany of Sugarcane, providing a lead for investigating the dissemination of sugar industry research knowledge.
