卢守耕是台湾战后糖业科研机构重建阶段的负责人。台糖研究所的历任所长表记载，其任期为1945年12月至1954年6月；机构于1948年改隶台湾糖业公司。国家文化记忆库另保存1954年8月2日的新旧所长交接合影及说明，记其植物育种专业背景，并记离任后赴台湾大学农学院任教。Lu Shougeng headed the postwar reconstruction of Taiwan's sugar research institution. The Taiwan Sugar Research Institute's list of former directors records his tenure as December 1945 to June 1954; the institution came under Taiwan Sugar Corporation in 1948. The National Cultural Memory Bank also preserves a group photograph and caption from the handover between the outgoing and incoming directors on 2 August 1954. Its description records his professional background in plant breeding and his subsequent move to teach at National Taiwan University's College of Agriculture.
