林金涌是福建仙游龙华乡建华村的种蔗能手，应作为农业知识共同生产者记入甘蔗史。福建地方志记载，1955年他与周可涌合作开展甘蔗耕作栽培研究，平植和双行三角密植等实践在当地试验。1956年相关田块吸引全国性观摩，随后用于推广；1958年地方志又记其全国甘蔗丰产劳动模范身份。Lin Jinyong was a skilled cane grower in Jianhua Village, Longhua Township, Xianyou, Fujian, and merits inclusion in sugarcane history as a joint producer of agricultural knowledge. Fujian local gazetteers record that in 1955 he collaborated with Zhou Keyong on sugarcane tillage and cultivation research, with local trials of practices including horizontal planting and dense double-row planting with triangular spacing. Related fields attracted national observation visits in 1956, followed by wider extension. A gazetteer also records his recognition as a national model worker for high-yield sugarcane production in 1958.
