杨丹彤长期在华南农业大学从事甘蔗机械化研究。校方履历记载，他1992年毕业后留校任教，2010年任公益性行业科研专项“甘蔗全程机械化生产技术与装备开发”首席专家，并主持或参与小型收割、剥叶及整秆收获项目。2013年技术路线论文和2019年立式剥叶试验论文均有其署名，连接项目组织与具体技术研究。Yang Dantong has long researched sugarcane mechanization at South China Agricultural University. His university biography records that he stayed to teach after graduating in 1992. In 2010, he became chief expert for the public-interest sector research project Development of Technologies and Equipment for Fully Mechanized Sugarcane Production, and led or participated in projects on small harvesters, leaf stripping, and whole-stalk harvesting. He is an author of both the 2013 paper on technical approaches and the 2019 paper on vertical leaf stripping trials, connecting project organization with specific technical research.
