唐仕云是广西甘蔗遗传育种研究的合作参与者。2016年《甘蔗家系的遗传测定与选择》以其为第一作者，研究将常用杂交组合的家系表现用于评价与选择；他亦是2015年桂糖44号、2016年桂糖49号选育论文的共同作者。中国热带作物学会2023年桂糖44号成果名单再次列其为完成人。Tang Shiyun is a collaborator in sugarcane genetics and breeding research in Guangxi. The 2016 paper Genetic Testing and Selection of Sugarcane Families names him as first author; the study used the performance of families from commonly used crosses for evaluation and selection. He also coauthored the breeding papers for Guitang 44 in 2015 and Guitang 49 in 2016. The Chinese Society of Tropical Crops' 2023 list of contributors to the Guitang 44 achievement again names him.
