人物简介Biographical profile
周可涌是将试验研究、农业教育与蔗区推广相连的早期甘蔗学者。东南大学校友史料明确记载，他1940年任四川农业改进所甘蔗试验场技正兼场长，推广印度290，1945年赴美国路易斯安纳研究甘蔗。回国后长期在福建工作，参与建立甘蔗研究机构，并与种蔗能手合作研究双行三角密植等栽培方法。福建农林大学机构史记其1988年逝世。Zhou Keyong was an early sugarcane scholar who connected experimental research, agricultural education, and extension in cane-growing areas. Southeast University's alumni records state that in 1940 he became senior technical officer and director of the Sugarcane Experiment Station of the Sichuan Agricultural Improvement Institute, promoted the variety India 290, and went to Louisiana in the United States to study sugarcane in 1945. After returning to China, he worked in Fujian for many years, helped establish sugarcane research institutions, and collaborated with skilled cane growers on cultivation methods such as dense planting in double rows with triangular spacing. Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University's institutional history records his death in 1988.
